I like to incorporate training into my time with dogs, focusing on often hard to teach lessons such as heel, and recall. My family has owned dogs since I was a little boy, and now that I am grown up, I have my own dog.

This was the first time I have ever left my babies with other than family. From day 1 through my return Alex was communicative via message and pics. I was able to relax about the dogs and focus on my trip. He was amazing and i am quite sure Gronk and Harley are missing him !

The first step should be “puppy proofing” the house, this means cleaning small items the dog could potentially choke on, or chew up. Examples of this include bottle caps, chicken wings, etc. Secondly, boundaries must be set. The dog should know never to eat from the table.
