I love animals! I'm an aspiring veterinarian who is currently attending UNCW to obtain a B.S. in Biology and a double minor in Psychology/Neuroscience. I have seven crazy, amazing, and loving dogs with whom I spend most of my time. When I'm not studying or spending time with my babies, I enjoy volunteering with animals. I have volunteered at Possum Wood Acres, the Pine Knoll Shore Aquarium, and a horse rescue. My experience with pets ranges from dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rodents, and horses. I'm comfortable administering medications and caring for senior/disabled pets with my background in pet care. I have shadowed small and large animal veterinarians who have taught me a plethora of knowledge for providing basic health care for pets. Being an animal enthusiast I look forward to taking care of your furred, scaled, or feathered baby!

Alex has taken care of my cat and she is by far the best pet sitter I have ever had! She has taken care of him when I am gone for the weekend and longer trips and I never have to worry about my fur baby. She always sends updates and pictures that ease your mind and she goes above and beyond to care for the pets and your home. She emptied the litter box and swept the area every time and washed his food bowls multiple times. Alex is trustworthy, reliable, and with her experience working at the vet, I am never worried about my pet!
I had a week vacation coming up and was very nervous about my 2 cats and 2 dogs being left at a boarding facility, as they have never been. I was referred to Alex and i could not have been happier! My babies LOVED her and she took care of them like her own! I was able to enjoy my vacation fully knowing my babies were being cared for in the comfort of their own home and got regular updates and pics! I recommend Alex , with no hesitation, for anyone needing a responsible, loving and knowledgeable caretaking for their furbabies!!!!!
Alex has taken care of my three cats and dog on several occasions. She stays at my home overnight on these occasions. I trust her completely with my animals, my home and the contents. Alex performs all the duties my animals require, such as administering medications, cleaning the litter box, letting the dog out frequently and walking him daily. Upon arrival back home, my house is as clean as the day I leave. I trust Alex to do a great job. Her honesty and love for all animals is why I will continue to choose and recommend her for any pet sitting needs.
When I went away for a weekend Alex stayed with my dogs. It was so nice to not have to worry about them for once. She was very attentive and made sure to spoil them while I was away (I don’t think they missed me at all). Alex was very trust worthy and responsible when not only caring for my pets, but coworkers pets as well. She’s very passionate about what she does and any pet would be lucky to have her while you were away.
