Pet care experience
I've been taking care of dogs for the last 20 years and have a strong love for all animals! I'm an active Austin Pets Alive! volunteer and have extensive experience around all types of dogs from puppy to senior, to dogs with more behavioral and medical needs, and can accommodate surroundings accordingly based upon what you, and your furry companion need! I love spending my weekends outdoors whether that's running, swimming, hiking, etc. so your pet will get plenty of exercise, hydration, and belly rubs along the way!

Can’t recommend him enough- we have two high energy dogs and he went out of his way to make sure they were worn out and happy. He was super flexible on our pick up/drop off. Super responsive. Sent updates and pictures daily. The dogs can’t wait to be boarded w/ him again.
Alex was amazing! He sent update pictures every morning and evening and I picked Kona up very happy and healthy. I definitely recommend Alex and will definitely be contacting him in the future for any boarding.
Alex is an excellent dog care provider and I hope to book with him again in the future.
Alex was AMAZING with my anxious and reactive dog. He sent a ton of updates and clearly went above and beyond with caring for her. I was so impressed by Alex, he truly sets the bar!

A typical day
I love to go out for runs along Hill of Life Trail, as well as the trails around Zilker Park. Typically I'll bring your pet companion to a dog park as well. (Activity is subject to pet's activity level, and key vitals will be monitored throughout activity sessions to ensure safety.)

I work from home full time from Monday through Friday (8am-5pm.) I'm available for boarding on any time, but generally have meetings to attend to throughout the day.
