Pet care experience
I have been a dog lover my entire life, and am a newly converted cat lover as well! I have been fortunate to have lots of pet minding experience from a young age to now, and am comfortable caring for pets of any age and with various needs. I know how important it is to find someone you trust to take care of your furry family members, and I am proud to be a highly responsible, highly caring pet sitter.

Alex is amazing with Winona (Winnie). She always makes sure to send plenty of photos of Winnie on her walk and to inform me of everything that happened during the walk. This has been helpful when Winnie was sick and to help with Winnie’s training. Winnie has gotten better with her walks and not tugging as much now that she’s been walking with Alex. Alex also makes sure to inform me well in advance if she will be having a vacation and not able to walk Winnie. I would highly recommend Alex as a dog walker to anyone who is interested.
Alex was so wonderful! I know she gave our dog Skylar all the attention and love she needed while we were gone. She had great communication and and sent pictures of Sky. She is so kind and sweet! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a kind loving person to care for their pet and home while they are away. We would definitely ask her back!

I don't have the ability to mind your pets at my home as my fur babies do not tolerate other pets well. So, I can mind your pet(s) in your home, and bring my services to their neighborhood, where they are most comfortable. I have done lots of combined house/pet overnight sitting for extended periods of time.

Anything and everything you can think of that will allow me to provide your pet with the best possible care is appreciated. Their needs, habits/routines, energy level, favorite things, etc.
A typical day
I love giving dogs ample opportunity to explore and enjoy all the fun scents and sights they can on our walks. I am happy to give your pet lots of time to take in their surroundings safely (meaning on-leash at all times while on walks), and to let them sniff to their heart's content. I'm also happy to encourage and prioritize lots of exercise if that is what you deem best for your fur baby!

This summer I am already fairly booked up with overnights, but will be available on a few occasions to take care of your pet(s). Please consult my calendar for availability, as it is updated as of 05/07/23. I am more available to do drop in visits for all pets this summer, and dog walking as well.
