Hi there! My name is Alex, and I’m so excited to make some new friends! I have several years of experience working with animals in pet-sitting (dogs and cats!), plus many years of having my own pets! I have an amazing shorty Jack Russell who keeps me on my toes all the time right now! I am an active person so I have no problem keeping up with large dogs, or dogs that have lots of energy! I am a student at MIU so, for the most part, I have mornings and evenings as well as a break around lunch to hang out with some furry pals! I know how important it is to keep your pet comfortable when you leave town, and I have experience working with nervous animals as well! I also have no problem helping out with watering plants, cleaning litter boxes and other household tasks that need kept up with when you go out of town. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get it touch :) I am also willing to negotiate rates if I am needed for more than three consecutive days! I can’t wait to meet you!

Alex is awesome! My two dogs love when she shows up for walks. They have a midday walk to help break up the day and she always gives the dogs time in the backyard to do their business, play, and get some energy out. She is also attentive to the details of our training routines.
I highly recommend Alex for any house-sitting or pet-sitting job that you need covered! She’s very conscientious, clean, on-time and communicates clearly about the details.

Little details make our time together way better! I also like to know if certain actions might make your dog uncomfortable. If they don’t like being picked up, or get nervous around loud noises etc.
A typical day
I love exploring new places! And I think taking walks are the perfect ways to see cool neighborhoods and local parks! I don’t mind loading up the gang and going to nearby trails for some light hiking just to get the chance to see something new!
