Growing up, I think I spent more time at the local animal shelter than my house. It was a goal to work with dogs and after realizing I could never put one to sleep, this was a good second option. Dogs are the gateway to a person and who they are. They mean the world to me and I treat any animal with the same love I give to my family. I currently do now own any pets and would love to have companionship that dogs provide, the unadulterated love and kindness. Sometimes, you don't need a person but you need a dog's love.
