Hi there! I'm Alex. I’m a long time pet owner of many different animals. As my father is a vet, I've grown up around dogs and lived with cats as well as small caged animals. Originally, I started Rover because I had moved out of my parents house, and I missed having the dog companionship. However, since offering pet care for the past 3 years, and becoming a dog parent myself, I know how hard that decision is to have someone else care for your pet while you are unable to do so. I am here to provide reliable and responsible pet care, that I would want for my own dog.

Alex is great as usual. My family and I are sometimes gone for 8 hours for work and Alex drops in to checkin on them and let them out into the backyard. Thank you so much Alex! Our dogs absolutely love you, especially Jaanu!
I was so happy to have Alex look after our cat while we were away for a week. She did an amazing job and I will definitely be using her services next time!
