Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs through rover with my mom for around 6 years. We've had every size and shape of dog at our house and have nothing but great experiences! I also have experience tending for dog's for my family and friends. I am respectful, responsible and reliable. I am at school in nyc for the year and will have some free time during the day since my classes are mostly after 5pm. I will be available for home visits and dog walking. I am a huge dog lover and really enjoy taking care of people's pets. My personal favorites are a border collie named Bear, and my dad’s dog Bo who’s a basset hound. Special skills include long walks, tennis ball throwing, belly rubs, ear scratches. References are available upon request. I can't wait to take care of your dog!

When taking care of a dog in a clients home I make sure to follow any guidelines they provide and to make sure the dog is looked after and happy. When walking a dog I try to keep them away from other dogs during the walk, make sure they’re not thirsty or overly tired, and just generally monitor how they’re doing to make sure everything is ok.

I would like to know how they interact with other dogs generally so I know if I need to be more careful when around other peoples dogs. Especially when they're on a leash.
A typical day
I usually bring dogs on walks to a park near my house. It's about 10 minutes both ways. If I go to someone's house to walk a dog I can explore the area and figure out a good walk route.

I will be available everyday besides Tuesday up until 4-5pm since I have classes starting around that time. Tuesdays I will be available up until noon.
