Pet care experience
I've been dog walking, pet, and, housesitting for over 10 years. During that time, I've cared for a variety of animals, big and small-- from fish, rabbits, cats, dogs, even horses! I have never lived in a home without animals; whether it be frogs, birds, cats, dogs, hamsters, there has always been a furry presence in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. Presently, I share a home with my very-laidback cat, Oliver, in Lewiston.

Alex has watched our pups a few times and always does an excellent job. The most latest time we had a winter advisory and single digit temps and she still did amazing with the weather conditions. We will continue to use her every time!

I live in a small cozy home with lots of room to roam outside. I also have a small kennel available so to use if your pup is crate-trained, to save you the trouble of transporting yours. If staying in home with your dog, I try my best to adhere to their typical routine to minimize disruptions in their day-to-day while you're away.

Please provide any pertinent information about your pet's needs, medications (if applicable), and/or preferences so I can better care for them! I'm also happy to adhere to any established routine your pet may have, to the best of my ability. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and pets with special (but manageable) medical needs. While I also have cared for and am open to caring for puppies, I typically prefer to sit dogs who are at least a year old.
A typical day
Frequent walks throughout the day are a must! If your pet is staying with me in my home, there are miles of quiet country roads for them to enjoy. And for the more high-energy pups, a daily run is fun way for us to get outdoors and expend some of their energy. And you can expect to receive lots of pictures of the fun!

Outside of full-time petcare, I'm also an artist and independent contractor and work from home during the week, leaving me extremely flexible means and availability to attentively tend to your pets needs. I can assure you your pet will be well cared for and loved during your time apart!
