Pet care experience
I have both owned and cared for cats and dogs throughout my life. I am comfortable adjusting to individual needs as directed (including: training preferences, feeding schedules, administration of meds, etc.).

Alex did an amazing job working with myself and my dog Bishop. She was incredibly patient and helpful when our original plan kept changing due to some animal transport delays. Highly recommend Alex if you want someone who goes above and beyond for you and your pet.
Alex did an amazing job caring for our baby girl while we were gone for two weeks. I highly recommend her. She is caring , attentive, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be working with her again in the future
Alex was so great with my German Shepherd Roscoe!! He has a lot of energy and she was always good about taking him out for adventures and getting him the exercise he needs! She checked in often with updates and photos and she left my place very clean! I would highly recommend her to anyone and I will definitely be asking her to sit my pup again in the future!

I live within a 3 minute walk of the trail system, have a fenced in yard, and no other pets in my household. I am also more than happy to take your pet to a dogpark, if you are comfortable with that!

I do not have any breed preferences; I love all animals! Is your pet potty trained? Does your pet have any aggressions that I should be aware of? People agression? Are they an escape artist? Is it ok to take your pet(s) on outdoor excursions? Does your pet have any food allergies?
A typical day
I regularly visit the university lake dog park but also enjoy taking advantage of Anchorage's extensive trail system, as well as local hiking trails. However, if your pet prefers lower energy activities, I'd be happy to accommodate them!

Availability
I work at a treatment center for youths from 7AM-4PM and do not come home during my work day. I am able to provide a walk in the morning before leaving for work but bigger excursions will take place after my work hours and on my days off.
