Pet care experience
I’ve had many animals, including both large and small dogs, horses, cats, and a pet cow since I was a child. I am a healer and love connecting with them to help them release anxiety and anything that interferes with their optimal health and well-being. I recently said goodbye to my precious little boy after 15 years of blissful and adventurous times together. At this time, I’m not ready to commit fully to another just yet, however, I have a heart full of love to share with your beautiful babies and I would like to experience a variety of new ‘angels’ in my life while I have the freedom to do so. I’m very in tune with animals and their needs, I pay close attention to them and bond very quickly. They are extremely intelligent and intuitive and will let you know right away if we’re a good match.

Alex is one of the most compassionate people I know regarding the welfare of all animals. She formed a special bond with my dog immediately. It is not a very easy thing to do as he is very particular with anyone who approaches him and does not allow all who approach him to touch him. She has been extremely helpful with the way he has adapted to our new environment with providing me with options about his routine grooming. I would not hesitate to leave him with Alex should the need arise in the future. I am positive that he would be well cared for and protected. I strongly recommend Alex as a person who would provide this level of care for any other pet that she was asked to sit with.

Knowing Alex is a wonderful blessing. She is a very kind and giving person, as well as an established healed to whoever needs help. Many times she has helped our family. Watching over our home when we go to Ohio, we never worry about a thing. The amazing way she works with animals is fantastic, they all automatically love her. I'm writing this testimonial because I know Alex and how much she loves and cares about animals. Alex and I met through Rover when she needed a sitter for her beloved but aging pup, "Spikey." Alex fiercely loved and meticulously cared for Spikey, and demanded the same of anyone who would care for him as she traveled. Now that Spikey is gone, Alex wants to keep animals in her life and lovingly care for them, as she did for her own pup, for so many years. Alex is responsible, communicative, compassionate, and knows exactly how it feels to leave your "baby" in the hands of another. A better house-sitter, pet-sitter, cannot be found.

Availability
I’m available for house visits and possibly for house sitting. I have recently adopted a 15 yo mostly blind/deaf dachshund. If your situation permits, he would come with me. He’s house trained very clean and quiet. He sleeps unless he’s eating or going outside. If not, I’ll do my best to make it work for you.
