I've been a dog owner my entire life. They mean the world to me. We truly don't deserve them! My 9 year old German pointer/lab mix just passed away in December and I've been pretty devastated, so the idea of being able to give love to other dogs is what inspired this Rover account. I'm responsible, always on-time, and very flexible with hours/needs. I'm also a good communicator and very accessible - hopefully all the things you want in someone to trust around your beloved animals, which I know can be really hard to do! I live with my girlfriend in a very large apartment (almost 1,000 sq ft), and she's also a huge dog lover and very friendly to them. We have a number of great dog parks around us, should you want your pup to enjoy one of them, but also live in a relatively quiet area around which I can walk them for as long as you'd like me to! And as far as home visits, I'm going to make sure your dog feels comfortable around me before proceeding with them, as I know how important that relationship can be (I've watched friends' dogs, family's dogs, and other owners' dogs and have a lot of experience with getting comfortable with them). Mostly, I just want to help in any way I can as I know how hard it can be to both trust a stranger with your pups but also to have to be away from them! I really respect you trusting me with your dog and can't wait to meet you and them both!
