Pet care experience
I am a Physical Therapist from Jacksonville, Florida but I just moved to Boston this year. I grew up with a 50lb German Shepherd mix and a couple of cats. I have pet-sitted for friends/family many times and have always had a wonderful time. I have been dog sitting and walking on Rover for a couple of years now and really enjoy it! I live in the Allston neighborhood in a 1st floor apartment with my girlfriend and our dog, a Golden Retriever named Jax. I work full-time Sun-Thurs so nights and Fri-Sat I am more readily available. Alex was great to work with. He took such good care of our Stella. He picked her up for us from our wedding and she was excited to see him (usually she sulks a little when she's leaving us). We could tell she had made a fast friend. I would definitely ask Alex for his help in the future.
This was our first Rover experience, and we are so happy with Alex. He sends pictures and has a mellow personality that put our pup at ease. Our dog seemed really comfortable with her stay when we picked her up. A++

A typical day
Walks will be in the Central West End neighborhood and in Forest Park. I know of a couple of dog parks nearby if that is something your dog enjoys doing. I don't mind at all giving them a ride in my car as I have a Jeep Cherokee that the back seats can be put down for larger dogs!
