Experienced Trainer and Pack Leader

Pet care experience

I have been training dogs for over a decade. I’ve worked primarily with working dogs, but experience ranges from Shih Tzus to Newfoundlands. I believe that exercise and engagement are tantamount to a happy and healthy dog. Long walks, learning new commands, and playtime are part of a normal routine for my dogs, and will be for yours as well. Dogs crave exercise, both physical and mental, and the more I can provide, the happier the animal will be. Whether it’s a hike, the park, or learning “like you mean it” (my favorite when dogs “pretend” to sit or lie down), your dog will always be engaged and loved. For boarding and training, I provide a fully-fenced 1/4 acre, chickens (locked in their own but available for advanced training and aggression education), and an ultra-intelligent border collie who can lead by example when it comes to obedience training and socialization. Whether you need help training your pup (or old-timer) or a safe, fun, interactive boarding, you’ve found the right trainer. There is no such thing as a problem dog. Whatever your issue, I can help resolve the problem. Self-described dog enthusiast. I won’t spoil your dog, but I will show it the same love and respect it receives at home.

Great work. We need a day off while Bodhi needed some social time and to get tired. Everybody won. Alex was super helpful (even wore a mask) by picking the pup up and sending pictures throughout the day. His doggos seem really sweet too. Now Bodhi is pooped, and we are happy.

Alex is awesome! He spoils my baby and made him part of his pack for the week while I was out of town. I got photos every once in awhile which made me feel good since I missed my boy a lot. I would def recommend Alex.

Alex did a great job taking care of Gunner for the whole day! He took him out on walks and Gunner got to play with Alex's dogs. Totally tuckered out when he got home!

Wow Alex and his sweet wife are amazing. I left my Havanese puppy with them and Alex did a wonderful job helping her overcome her timidness around his well behaved dogs. Dog socialization is very much needed for Lola and I feel like Alex’s understanding of packs and how to lead dogs was super helpful for my sweet puppy. I will use Alex again.
