I’m a freelance graphic designer that works from home, and in between running my own business I love taking care of my two cats and dog walking! Animals have always been one of my greatest source of joy in life, and while I am a professional artist, I have done personal study into animal behavior. I have experience walking reactive dogs, as well as dogs that struggle with anxiety. I can handle puppy and kitten care, as well as senior care. Ask me about nail trimming!

Alex has been amazing with our golden puppy! She sends sweet updates every time she walks him for us and cute pictures. She is so in tune with his needs and balances some good exercise with stimulating sniffing and stick or pine cone hunting. We have had such a great experience with Alex!
It was great having Alex available to walk Gypsy and Zoey. They seem to enjoy their walks. Definitely be calling on Alex again!

In my own home I’m playing and cuddling with my cats almost constantly, as they’re both energetic and friendly cuddle bugs. I make sure to tire them out with toys before feeding time to emulate that natural hunting instinct, and enjoy making them varied meals with a mix of grain free high protein kibble, freeze dried raw nuggets, and high quality wet food. I would be respectful of your home and would love the opportunity to dote on your fur babies! I love my kitties to the moon and back, and would treat every animal like it’s my own.

A typical day
I love to take varied walks and let your baby experience hiking in nature, having fun with other pups at the dog park (if that’s their speed) and exploring the urban environment. I love to play and cuddle, and will match your dog where they are. I have experience with high energy pets that want to go on runs and long, tough hikes, as well as pets that want a potty break and cuddles inside on the couch! I have a variety of dog toys that will keep your baby entertained, and love to play fetch, tug of war, and even have experience training dogs on obstacles like jumping through hoops, seesaws, and tunnels. I love studying animal behavior and slowly teaching good walking habits, new tricks and how to get your dog to put their own toys away!

Availability
I work from home, doing freelance graphic design jobs and running a small art business. I love getting out on hikes, bikes and walks anyways, and love taking my friends dogs out and hanging with them on weekdays while they work. I’m very lucky to be able to schedule my own work, and can fit my own projects around dog walking, errands, etc.
