Pet care experience
I am the owner of a small chihuahua shih-tzu mix and an Australian shepherd and have been around dogs and cats my entire life! I am very comfortable with any size dog and love cats as well. I worked at a vet clinic's office for 2 years, giving me a more in depth experience and knowledge about pets and their needs. I am incredibly flexible, love to spend my days walking and being around animals, and what better way to do that than to help others get their dogs and cats the care they need! I know the struggle of working and making sure your pets are happy, and you can count on me to give your pet the care they need when you aren't available.

Information Alex F. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if the owner has a specific way they like to walk the dog, such as keeping them close or letting them walk ahead a bit. Consistency is key I believe when walking animals and I want to make sure I stick with owners habits. I would also like to know if treats are available and how the dog is best reinforced. Also, I would appreciate knowing whether or not the dog is reactive to people or dogs or a friendly baby all around. My little dog is very reactive to other dogs when we walk so I make sure to turn around or distract him when we do come across one to avoid a stressful situation.
A typical day
I will take them around the area they live, helping them get to know the sights and smells of their neighborhood! I love taking animals on similar routes so they perk up when they recognize a house or dog outside they have seen before, but also would love to explore new areas with these pooches. I am very open to suggestions from owners about where to walk their pets and am very open to throwing the ball as long as their hearts desire in a fenced in backyard.

I have a part time job and am very flexible during the week between Tuesday and Thursday for drop in visits and taking the dogs on walks.
