Alex loves animals. He has been responsible for, and caring for pets all his life. We have had 3 dogs for over 30 years , and Alex has fed, played with, trained, and walked them. As a youngster he regularly fed and walked our Golden Retriever around the neighborhood. They were inseparable. The same with Roxie, our Bearded Collie. Alex actually trained her, which is no small feat with a Beardie. As an adult he has dog-sat with our Havanese at home for 3 weeks while we were out of the country. Molly was happy and healthy when we arrived back home. Now he is also a devoted cat dad, and takes care of his Midge. In the past he has had a gecko (until he left for college), and multiple fish. Alex came over to our place for several weeks while we were away to take care of our red-eared slider turtle, Freddie. He did a great job. He was communicative, reliable, and flexible. When we unexpectedly had to extend our trip, he was gracious and continued to watch Freddie for us. I felt really comfortable having him in our home and knowing that he was looking out for Fred. I would absolutely have him pet sit again.
