I am healthy and active, with a keen understanding of dogs and how they communicate. I have looked after big dogs, little dogs, and even cats, and I love to meet new animal friends and make sure they are well looked after. I grew up with one big dog, a yellow lab, and one little dog, a mix, so I'm familiar with different personalities and types, and I loved taking them for long walks, to the dog park, and to the beach as a teenager. I know how important dogs are as members of the family, and how important having a secure, reliable person to take care of them can be. I frequently still look after my mom and dad's dogs when they go on vacation! The black and white dog in my photos belongs to my roommate, his name is Toby and I help whenever I can with his care. He is friendly and playful, with a huge personality! He's a great addition to our house, and we love playing fetch with him in the yard and cuddling with him on the couch.
