I am passionate about dogs and understand their needs. I care for my neighbor's 9 dogs whenever they ask. When I care for a dog, I treat them as if they were my own. At my first job, I was called "the 5 minute man" because I would be at work 5 minutes after being called. I am very good at showing up a few minutes before I am needed. There are very few situations that will cause me to panic. My greatest strength is my ability to adapt my behavior to the situation. When I first meet a dog, I understand that they might not trust me at first, so I let them come to me if they want to. For example, one of my neighbors has a rescue dog who is scared of strangers. I let the dog choose when they wanted to approach me, and they eventually did. I am the only neighbor who this dog trusts at this time.
