Pet care experience
My name is Alex and I live in a 4 bedroom house with a huge fenced yard in Birmingham. I am probably one of the biggest dog lovers you'll ever meet. I have two Golden Retrievers named Ruby and Mack who would love to join on walks if allowed. Raising Ruby and training her has made my experience with dogs totally different and has only made my love for them grow so much more. I graduated from Auburn a few years ago with a degree in Early Childhood Education but have always found myself drawn to anything dealing with dogs and being active outside. Being a school teacher, I have a flexible schedule all summer which makes me able to love and care for your dog whenever you need!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Alex. From the start Alex has been true to her word, is extremely trustworthy and most importantly is GREAT with my baby girl, Luna (silver lab). Luna loves Alex and is always super excited to see her and spend time with her. As a dog parent, we all know how important it is to find good care with someone you trust. Alex is that person. As much as I don’t want to share her, she deserves the opportunities. I highly recommend Alex.
Alex was amazing! We needed someone to watch our pup last minute and she came through! She kept us up to date on videos and pictures throughout the stay and made our dog feel right at home!
Alex is the best dog sitter! She kept my highly energetic puppy, Tucker, for 5 days and he had the best time. Alex has two dogs of her own so she knows exactly what they need. Tucker had so much fun with Alex that he didn’t want to come home with me! I plan to continue to use Alex as a dog sitter whenever needed, she’s the best!
I have a black teacup pug named Raisin and a chocolate lab named Drizzle, both whom LOVE Alex. Alex first started watching my pups last year when I couldn't board them when I needed to go out of town. She was prompt, consistent, followed all of our instructions, and loved on Raisin and Drizzle like they were her own! This experience led me to lean on Alex more even if I was just gone for a day and needed someone to feed and let them out. She always plays with them and even sends pictures for me to see them! Alex has dogs of her own and truly knows what it takes to be a responsible and loving caregiver. She will be a fantastic Rover!

A typical day
I live fairly close to Jemison Trail and Lakeshore trail so I frequently take my own dog their for walks and to throw the ball at nearby parks. I rarely leave my own dog at home alone so if not out on a walk or playing at the park, I love to snuggle up with the pups on my couch to watch tv or a movie.
