Pet care experience
I AM AVAILABLE MOST HOLIDAYS! I’m that girl who will jump over a fence to pet a dog. I’ve always loved animals and I must hug them, if they allow me to. I don’t have formal training with animals. I just love them and do whatever I can to make them happy and feel safe with me. I know how to read a room and typically when pets want space, I can pretty easily pick up on that. I will never force an animal in my space, but I will work with them until they are comfortable with me. I've never met a dog that didn't like me (not to toot my own horn). When I know there's a nervous dog or cat, I'll speak with them in a soft, calming voice so they know I'm not a threat. Long story short, I'll make sure you and your pet are comfy with me.

Alex has taken care of our dogs for over 4 years. We had 2 ailing Airedale Terriers and her ability to deal with both large dogs with care, thoroughness and gentleness exceeded our expectations. When our new Airedale puppies joined our family 2 1/2 years ago, she handled their energy and playfulness with the same professional approach as she did earlier. It's obvious that she adores dogs and will do everything necessary to care for them properly. We're so grateful for Alex!
Alex gave our dogs so much love while we were away! I would use her again in a heart beat.
Alex was great with my 2 Springer Spaniels and crazy cat. She walked them and cared for them as if they were her own. My Springer Skye takes time to warm up to people but warmed right up to Alex during our meet and greet. Alex sent pictures almost daily on walks and during snuggle time. She stayed with my crew at my home while I was away and everything was well taken care of. The animals all enjoyed their time with Alex.
Alex is my go to girl for all my pet needs. She stays at my home with my gentle giant great danes when I'm going out of town. She cares for them as though they were her own. Her attention to detail is outstanding and her compassion for my kids in fur warms my heart. If you're looking for someone to care for your babies the way you do, then look no further, Alex is it!!

A typical day
I like to start with puppy kisses and huggies. Scratches and more kisses. We can go for walkies and play tug o'war. If I'm coming for a drop in visit, we can go for a little walk to get some exercise, or we can just play with your toys and have a nice potty break.

Availability
I work part-time in Largo so I can be free for the day, most days, after 2pm for hangs and playtime. Occasionally I work a little later. For home stays that are over the weekend, I will be out some of the day. If that doesn’t work and I’m needed all day and all night, this can be discussed at the time of booking. However, the rate may go up depending on what needs must be met.
