Pet care experience
I live in Denver, CO and am looking for work! I volunteer at Dumb Friends League Animal Shelter as a foster parent in Denver and have a lot of experience fostering and walking dogs from the foundation. Many of the dogs I have fostered have different trauma's and are looking for some home support and training in order to be adopted so I have experience with a wide variety of doggie needs. I have experienced caring for dogs that are dog-friendly or not dog-friendly, good on-leash, bad on-leash etc. I am confident I can care for any type of dog and have a strong desire to meet the owner's needs and preferences!

Alex loves pets almost as much as she loves chips, which is A LOT!!! If your pets do not love her for all the attention she will give them, they will most assuredly love her for the chip like aroma that she exudes. Alex is responsible, caring, loving and you can rest assured that your pet will be well cared for.
Alex goes above and beyond when it comes to animal care. She’s attentive, loving, and is probably more eager to take our dogs on walks than they are! She’s super trustworthy and I would use her to dog/cat sit and dog walk in a heartbeat.
Alex has been fostering and a dog owner for many years. She has cared for our two dogs on multiple occasions and is a true dog lover. She is responsible, dependable, and great with all dogs. Highly recommend.

I have no specific preferences. I would just like to have a clear understanding of the dogs needs and personality as well as the preferences of the owner. I can follow rules and expectations while also having a lot of flexibility in how to care for a dog!
A typical day
I frequently hike in nearby locations like Wildcat canyon and would love to take dogs on long walks in nature. There is also a park nearby to play fetch in. I also enjoy taking dogs to various dog parks if the owner is okay with that! I have lots of dog toys and love spending time playing or in the backyard.
