Pet care experience
I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was 3 years old. I have experience with walking all sizes of dogs. I am not put off or intimidated of taking care of large doggies. Always had a special bond with them! I have recently adopted a Portuguese mix with whom I play games with and take for long walks. I live with my boyfriend, we love walking and it would be great to share walk time with another furry friend! I have a genuine, patient, kind and enthusiastic personality. Would be great to have the pleasure of meeting your lovely pawsy pal and sharing enthusiasm for walkie and play time! I have experience working in dog boarding kennels from which I have gained a Canine First Aid and Animal Welfare certificate. Would also love to spend time with sassy cats if given the opportunity! We live close to country walks and have a garden so regular outings and walkies are a must!

Alex has been brilliant with our rescue dog. She’s anxious with new people, and Alex has been so patient in getting to know her on walks before her first daycare today. Despite her anxiety, our dog took to Alex really quickly and was clearly at ease with her. We’re really confident we can trust Alex with our fur baby, and she’s also been really helpful bringing her out of her shell which helps in general with her development
She clearly adores dogs and so she treated my little puppy like her own. She followed my schedule and everything about my Leo’s profile and sent me about 8 videos of him throughout the day! I’d definitely pay for her to look after my puppy again!
We was really nervous about leaving our dog for 4 days, he’s a rescue and anxious but Alex put our minds to rest the Minuit he went there we had regular updates and photos he was relaxed and happy and were so Happy we found Alex on here! We won’t book anywhere else now we will deffinately be contacting Alex in future when we go Away :)

I make sure that doors leading to outside are closed so they don't run out. Wires and switches are off or hidden away to avoid major incidents. Toilet seats down so they are not drinking where they shouldn't. I also use baby gates in my house so if I'm going in and out of the house the dogs can be safely in a room where they are not going to panic or run out.

A typical day
I wake up before 8am to let my dog out to the garden. Whilst he is out doing his business I get his breakfast ready. After letting him in and once he's had breakfast he just does his own thing or if he feels like it we have a play about! Mainly dancing about in the kitchen or zoomies! I usually let him out every hour just so he's not holding anything and we go for a nice long walk around lunch so he gets his exercise in! After that we chill and get ready for dinner and if the weather approves then we try to slip another walk in before bedtime.

Availability
From February I shall be leaving my current kennel supervisor job and looking to set up my own business working from home. Whilst doing this it would be lovely to have a fury friend about to keep me and my dog company.
