Pet care experience
Animals are my favorite. I had two dogs growing up (their names were Nellie and Orson). I have experience with caring for multiple dogs: while backpacking in Central America, my favorite place that I worked and lived for over a month was a dog rescue shelter. It was run by a husband and wife who had rescued and were housing over 50 dogs. I also worked on organic farm that housed several dogs, and was typically selected for Dog Duty. I'd love to continue my work with dogs and other animals. When I care for your pet(s), they will be my number-one priority. You can count on me to provide patient, thorough care for your beloved animal, as well as act fast in case of emergency. Your pet will return to you tired and happy!

Alex was great -- I was a little hesitant to book with someone new, as Whatley is a bit older now and did want someone to stay with him so he was comfortable in his own environment. Alex was quick to respond when I needed someone for a last minute trip and incredibly helpful and easy to get a hold of during my stay. She sent daily updates and I really appreciated the effort she put in to making sure my Whatley felt comfortable and happy while I was away. He's developed a bit of separation anxiety, but Alex said he was happy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and will book again for sure!
Alex looked after my pups for 2 days and I was not impressed. I did not receive any updates on how they were doing and always had to follow up. Did not receive even 1 pic. The morning I arrived I was told they did their morning job and after she left and I came from the shower, one of them had pooped in the house. He is a creature of habit and since then multiple accidents happened in the house.
Our sometimes-difficult dog seems to really calm down around Alex. She watched our dog for about a week and checked in regularly to say that everything was going well. We came back to a clean house and a happy pup.
Alex was great with our dogs and they really seemed to enjoy their time with her. She was attentive and communicative with us while we were abroad, happily sending photo updates and checking in periodically. We’d happily book with her again and recommend her wholeheartedly.
