I’m a lifelong animal buddy!
Pet care experience
My first introduction to dogs was rescuing a Japanese Akita when I was 10 and teaching her to walk and sit and stay at obedience school on school nights. And I’ve grown up with cats my whole life, so some kind of pet fur has always made an appearance on my black yoga pants! I’m currently the mom of a senior special needs cat, but have dog-sat and cat-sat for my friends in the area for the past two years. Through my own pet experience, I’ve administered IV fluids, hidden pills in dog food, brushed coats of all lengths, and always found the place any cat or dog loves getting scritches! I’ve never met a cat or dog I didn’t want to pet, and I’m sure your pet and I will get along famously.

You’ll never meet someone more devoted to animals than Alex. She often is over at my place, treating my animals as if they were her own. And she is an incredible owner to her own little fur all. She takes great care of all of the pets in her world, and she is incredibly thoughtful about what needs they may have. Couldn’t recommend a better choice for an animal caretaker!
Alexa is great with dogs. My dog is very nervous around people and within 20 minutes of Alexa walking in the door, my dog was comfortable and loved her. She is super responsible and reliable. I would trust her both with my dog and my children. She is a kind and caring soul. Any family who has the opportunity to work with her will not be disappointed.
Alex has had dogs and cats her whole life. She loves them and takes great care them. She also gets to know animals she sits for so she can personalize how she cares for them. A great caregiver.
Alex has cat sat and watched my two precious fur babies on numerous occasions and she loves them as she would her own kitty. She is excellent with them, spends the extra time to play and sit with them, provide cuddles and kisses, and overall loves animals— yours, hers, whomever. She will take excellent care of your furry friend!

Availability
I work full-time from home, but am flexible with break times to take your friend for a walk or to pop in and give them a meal and TLC. During pre-COVID times, I worked in an office just down the street from my apartment 9-5 and had an hour-long lunch break, so the flexibility was still there and will be when things go back to “normal.”
