I'm Alex, a recent college grad and New York City transplant. I volunteered at my town's nature center as a teenager and have spent half my life around dogs (including my own Shiba Inu), so I'm confident around canines of all sizes. I've looked after dogs ranging from a few months old to 10+ years of age, and I'm attentive to the unique needs of the young and old alike. I can keep up with energetic pups and let seniors go at their own pace; I'm very happy to walk or run with them as needed. As a freelance journalist, I have a relatively flexible schedule, so I can do daytime walks and even house-sit overnight anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan if given enough notice.
