Pet care experience
Whether it was my own furry friend or someone else’s, I’ve been taking care of all sorts of dogs since the age of 10! I love and care for all animals, regardless of size or age. I have experience dealing with animals with anxiety and behavioral issues (I’ve had two of my own dogs be like this) and am more than willing to meet and greet as many times as it takes to get your pet comfortable! I know how to administer oral or topical medications, and have experience with training dogs (puppies and adults). While I do not have any of my own, I have experience with taking care of cats and love them just as much.

Alex was wonderful. We were visiting from out of town and spent the day with our fur babies while we were celebrating our sons wedding. We were able to fully enjoy ourselves knowing they were so well cared for. Thank you Alex ?
Alex is a gem. She took care of our 16 year old diabetic cat for a week, giving him his insulin shots twice daily and his other medications. She made sure he was fed at the right time. She cleaned his kitty litter, which he sometimes misses these days, and did it without complaint. She kept in touch day and night with pictures and information on how he was doing (he was doing great; he loved her). And she left the house spotless, cleaning up the day she left, which was completely unnecessary but appreciated. Because of her dedication and care we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We will definitely use her again, knowing our little guy will be in the best of hands. Thanks for everything Alex!!

Please let me know ahead of time if there are any behavioral or medical issues I need to be aware of beforehand so I can be prepared to give your dog the most comfortable, yet best time!

A typical day
I love taking dogs for long walks, runs, or hikes. I’ve take dogs in my care to dog parks (with owner permission) or try to find a safe spot to play fetch/tug of war until your pup is exhausted.

UPDATE: My availability has changed due to full time, on site work. M-F I am able to do drop-ins/walks after 5PM, while weekends have a flexible schedule. I still continue to house sit on weekdays and weekends. My calendar will always be up to date to reflect my most updated availability.
