Pet care experience
Peppy Pet Care was launched at the end of 2018 in Ithaca, NY by myself and my animal-loving, entrepreneurial eleven year old daughter. Together we worked to provide outstanding pet sitting services to Ithaca and Lansing pet owners. Beginning in 2021, I started officially working on my own, as my daughter is busy pursuing other interests and activities. Teenagers! I treat pets in my care as I would my own. I am considerate, patient, reliable and caring and trustworthy. I treat each visit like an adventure and make it the warmest and most wonderful experience for each animal. I look forward to meeting you and your cat(s) and discussing your cat-sitting needs. Thank you in advance for considering my services!!! I'm available both weekdays and weekends. Mornings, afternoons, evenings, as well as late night. I am typically in town during holidays and update my online calendar frequently. I provide care in client homes only at this time. I'm always vigilant when entering and exiting client homes, so as not to allow pets to slip out.

As always, Aleta gave Teeger exceptional care. Pictures and updates were received everyday. She administered medicine that was prescribed by the vet. I will always ask for Aleta when I need a pet sitter.
I have booked Aleta several times and continue to be impressed with the effort and personal touches she takes with her sitting charges. She is a great communicator who really puts my mind at rest when I’m away from my kitty.
Can't say enough good things about Aleta! I needed a sitter last minute for my cat for his first time alone in a new apartment. He started having health issues two days before I left, but the trip was one I couldn't easily cancel. Extremely stressful scenario all around. Aleta was an amazing sitter, and I was so relieved to have someone so caring and on top of things watching him. She sent very thorough updates on how he was doing day-to-day. He came out to play with her each day, which still blows my mind given how afraid of new people he usually is. Would recommend 1000% to anyone looking for a cat sitter
Aleta did a great job taking care of Teeger. Teeger just loves her and doesn't get anxious when I leave for vacations anymore. Aleta sends pictures of Teeger and updates to me everyday which helps me feel more relaxed about being away. I have a piano and Aleta and her daughter played tunes and sang for Teeger which she seemed to enjoy very much. All Teeger spaces were clean and tidy when I came home. Aleta even vacuumed the rest of the downstairs area where Teeger likes to hang out. Aleta will alway be my first request as a cat sitter.
