Pet care experience
I volunteer at the spca and frequently take care of my coworkers/friends animals by walking or house sitting. I have lived with pets my whole life and have a deep love for animals and their needs. I’ve taken care of animals ranging from cattle, as of growing up on a ranch and your common household pets, cats and dogs since I was a teenager. Alex is extremely empathetic with animals, and even the shiest cats warm up to him. I've also seen him stand up to a guy who mishandled a cat that he regularly cares for, and watched him care for an elderly dog who fell ill, thus bringing her back to health and extending her life for a bit longer. Cannot recommend him more highly!!
Alejandro has been pet and house sitting for me for nearly a year. He never fails to not only take care of my animals and house (2 dogs and 2 cats) but he is tidy and caring for the animals; often doing more than I ask while we are gone (i.e. trips to the dog park, extra walks, letting them sleep in the same room as him when he house sits). He also volunteers at a no kill shelter on his down time which shows his compassion for animals. I trust him exclusively if I have to be somewhere without my pets. He also remains in contact and will give a report of how things are going. Would recommend to anyone in need of loving care for their animals.

Let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs or medications to attend to. Let me know about their feeding habits and how they prefer attention and if they like physical contact or not. I prefer to meet the pet first before committing to take care of them just in order to get a feel for the animal’s personality. The only medication I am willing to administer are oral ones since I’m not a qualified pet vet able to administer shots of anything other than oral medication.
A typical day
I love to play with the dogs and cats depending on their age and energy. I can be really snuggly with them if they want a lot of physical attention. I often play with dogs if they have a toy to fetch and will walk or jog with them since I am an avid runner ?♂️

Availability
I currently work full time for the U.S Army band as a bass player based out of Fort Stewart. 9 times out of 10 I have weekends off and often have holidays and extra days off depending on work schedule. I am flexible with the amount of responsibilities I can handle but will most definitely work weekends
