Pet care experience
Hi my name is AJ. I've been in the professional dog care business for many years, working with and caring for all kinds of dogs around Montgomery County. I often work from home and my wife does as well. This allows us to take care of dogs in our home and be around to provide the excellent care they deserve. We have one dog, Goldie. She is an energetic and fun ~5yr old Golden Retriever mix. She is very well socialized with numerous dogs on a daily basis since I own a dog care service. She loves sharing our home with other dogs and gets along just fine. Sometimes she can get a bit over excited when meeting a new dog, but once they settle in she is her normal, independent self and doesn't bother another dog unless they want to play. Our only requirements when we take in dogs is we ask that all dogs are well house trained(will not pee or poop inside our home), they will not damage furniture and they do not bark often(we have neighbors and like to keep things quiet). Any dog I care for will surely get some good exercise if needed and be in good hands. If you ever need references, please feel free to ask. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I love all dogs and don't shy away from taking care of any. I just have a couple of basic requirements for when I take dogs into my home for care. I just ask that your dog is well house trained(they will not mark inside my home on floors or furniture) and that they are generally quite(not big barkers). I have neighbors and like to be polite to them and keep things quite.
A typical day
I live in a great, dog friendly community with lots to see and do for the dogs. I live very close to a popular lake that has restaurants and shops surrounding which makes for great walks around the lake and many people love to say hi to the dogs. I live very close to 2 dog parks, one is a small community dog park that is generally empty so this works great for dogs that aren't so friendly to others. The other is much larger and usually has other dogs to play with. I am a firm believer in exercising dogs to keep them mentally balanced, happy and healthy. My dog Goldie has a lot of energy so I always do my best to exercise any dogs that are in my care. I even have a treadmill that I use with Goldie and any other dogs that may really need some extra exercise on the bad weather days. I've trained many dogs to use it with great success.
