Pet care experience
I'm a biology major at The University of Texas. I grew up around dogs, and I recently had a dog for around nine years. I have lots of experience walking and taking care of dogs, from growing up with dogs to volunteering at Dog shelters. Although I have class, I can be available in the mornings and late afternoon, and I'm free all day on the weekends. I have light training in dog CPR, and I had a dog with epilepsy, so I know how to care for sick dogs that require a little extra love. Having a sick dog has made me more patient and understanding of dogs schedules. I wouldn't consider myself a dog training expert, but I have experience with house training my dog and teaching him a couple tricks.

Very accommodating to my schedule and did a great job taking care of my pup. She even came and picked him up, so that I didn’t have to carry the crate myself. She sent lots of pictures and always responded promptly whenever I messaged her. Highly recommend!
Alejandra took care of my puppies a few months ago and did a great job! My dogs were happy and I would trust her again!
Alejandra watched our dog a couple of times in 2017. We had to go out of town, but our dog was sick, and we knew we had to leave her with someone we trusted. Since we knew that Alejandra's late dog had been ill, we were sure that Alejandra had the experience giving pills, caring for a sick pup, and is quick on her feet in case of an emergency. She did an amazing job watching our dog and was attentive and accommodating for our dog. She is excellent at reading whether the dog wants to play or just chill and she's down for either. Before our dog Nena was sick Alejandra was always down to take her on a run or walking on a trail. She is an excellent choice for sedentary or active dogs! You can just tell that she has a special connection with dogs, she even taught Nena a couple of tricks while taking care of her!
Alejandra would make a fantastic dog caregiver. When she is in Dallas, she is my family's go to dog sitter. Alejandra started caring for my dogs ( an Australian Shepard and a Maltese) ~2014. She would stop by my house after school and let my pups out and feed them and sometimes would walk them. My husband and I don't trust many people with our fur babies since they can be a little crazy, but Alejandra seems to keep them under control, and they love her! Not only do I trust her to take care of my dogs but I trust her to come into my house; I feel like I can't say that about a lot of people. I know I can always trust her to be there on time and do her job. She was also good with my other pets ( a calico cat, a macaw, and some fish), she was not afraid of dealing with my zoo! She's done a couple of overnight sittings, and everything was great. It was amazing to know that my animals were in good hands!

A typical day
I will walk around the area where you live but can take the dog to a park or trail upon request. I love to run so if you need a high energy activity for your dog I would love to run with them. I love playing, so we go play fetch or tug-o-war or take them to their favorite dog park!
