I would like to know if they have any specific needs I must tend to, such as a special diet or health related issue. I'd also prefer to be informed about their behavior or certain activities they especially enjoy. Their happiness and comfort is the main priority! As funny as it may sound, I always adore working with Pit Bulls, Bully Pits and Am Staffs. They have a bad reputation but at heart they’re just oversized lovebugs. I also love working with Huskies as well; they’re extremely intelligent dogs and always a pleasure to be around.

When petsitting before, I’ve taken the dogs to pet shops to pick out toys or treats; it’s always so much fun to see how excited and happy they are afterward! I’ve also taken dogs I’ve petsitted to Lazy Dog for an extra delicious meal. However, activities vary with each dog depending on how comfortable they are around other animals or people. Their diet and special needs make a difference as well. Generally (with permission) pet stores, dog friendly restaurants and parks are typical spots I’d take them to.
