I’m currently studying Zoology at Newcastle Uni. I would love to be able to look after some lovely dogs as I cannot see my own dog Mags as she now lives with my family in Spain. As part of my degree I have completed modules in animal behaviour and welfare, and recently I conducted a dog welfare audit at a local shelter. Last summer I was a research assistant for a dog behaviour study where we observed behavioural preferences for a range of dogs. Growing up, In addition to looking after my own pets I volunteered for the RSPCA- Both my first dog Charlie and my current dog Mags were rescues from the same shelter I volunteered at- I have been lucky enough to take care of a wide variety of dogs, both young and elderly, and I am experienced in caring for those who might need a little more attention or care. Nowadays alongside my studies, I volunteer for the Northumberland wildlife trust, and the Team Kenya charity. I adore animals and you can be assured that your dog would be well looked after with me!
