When I was a young child, I cried every time we boarded our dogs when we traveled. I have always felt a deep connection with dogs, and leaving them while we traveled tore at my young heart. Dogs are very important members of the family and deserve to feel at peace and joyful when they cannot be with you. It is of equal priority to me that your dog feels very loved and exceptionally comfortable while you’re away. To some dogs that might mean countless games of playing fetch or splashing in the doggie pool; to other dogs, that might mean a quiet space to sleep or a warm lap to rest in with soft pats and reassuring whispers. Our home is well equipped to provide your dog with a safe, loving environment that will cater to his/her exact needs. With many years of dog fostering and pet sitting under our belts, we have two fully fenced private acres and our entire home is pet friendly. We even have a custom designed doggie spa area with private sleeping spaces for those who prefer the quiet. Because my husband and I are both Charlotte natives, we are always home during the holidays. Also, as a stay at home mom (2 children grown and 2 at home, ages 12 and 14) I am always available as needed and extremely flexible.
