Pet care experience
I have been lucky enough to call a dog or two my best friends throughout my whole life! I have taken care of a Schnauzer, two Labradoodles, an ornery Beagle-Basset, and now two loving Beagles over the years, either being my dog or my parents dogs. I have dog-sat for friends before, either walking their dogs or taking care of their doggies inside the home. My goal is to give your little friend comfort while their owners are away. I have been CPR certified for the last 10 years, and I also know first aid. These are not skills that I hope to use, but God forbid I need to, I know how. I am very patient and loving, and know that dogs only want someone to take care of them and be a friend. I have always loved dogs, and I am trying to save money for a wedding. I would be honored if given the chance to take care of your beloved animals.

Alec Donahue is my future son-in-law, my friend, my daughter's future husband. With that being said, he is all that we had hoped for! We also own two lab mix dogs. He knows both of their temperaments and responds to them as the individuals are as pets. He embraces all dogs as pets, not as just animals. He finds their personalities, and befriends them. Trust and relationship are key with our canine friends, Alec is a natural with this. He has cared for his fiance's dog as his own, daily carrying him to and from the back yard when "Willard" could not manage steps independently. If you are looking for an individual who loves dogs and wants to connect, care and love them; then Alec Donahue is your man!
I recommend Alec as a dog sitter. He cared for our two 10 year old labradoodles at his home for couple of months while we were in the process of moving. They loved him and it was clear that he took great care of them. He took them for walks, played with them in his yard and took them for vet check-ups. They did not gain weight, which was important to us. I know he grew up with dogs. He is friendly and is a person you would be comfortable having in your home. I would happily have him care for our girls again.
