Pet care experience
I've owned a dog as long as I can remember, in fact I like dogs more than I like most people. In all cases I've raised the dogs from 6 week old puppies into adulthood so I have experience with all stages of dog life and their corresponding needs in those stages. I exercise daily and being able to take a dog along with me on long walks and jogs is something I greatly enjoy. Additionally, I am a hard working individual with exceptional discipline, work ethic, and time-management skills.

If you're looking for a best friend for your dog, Alec is just that. His dog, Molly, adores him and I have never seen someone care for an animal the way he does. He is a kind, genuine, and responsible and will treat your dog like it is his own. I am convinced Alec is the dog whisperer because no one can handle my insanely hyper pit bull puppy like he does. I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else.
Alec is great with dogs! I cannot say enough about his dog sitting ability. He has such a way with my dog that she is so excited when she sees him! Alec has been a dog sitter for me on numerous occasions and I will continue to use him. My dog, Alice, loves him! Alec is extremely dependable and responsible. He is trying to work his way through medical school and dog sitting gives him a flexible way to do it. I love being able to help him with his goal and it is a bonus that Alice loves him and he loves her. Alec is a pet owner and has been for years so he is aware of all possible pet needs; he is able to administer medicine and any other special need a dog might have. Alec loves to play and interact with dogs and he gives them lots of pets so he is a great choice for anyone looking for a dog sitter. I highly recommend him!
Loving and caring for animals is in Alec’s DNA. Alec learned from a very early age how to care for pets dependably and compassionately. Alec has owned many pets throughout his 22 years. He played, walked, bathed, nursed, cleaned up messes and most of all loved each and every one of them. Alec graduated with honors this year from the University of Alabama as a Chemical Engineer. He is currently taking classes at UAB. Alec’s goal and dream is to be a Doctor. You can count on Alec to be an excellent pet sitter.

Mainly I need to know if they have any destructive habits. I am leasing an apartment and have some expensive furniture/items that I can't really afford to have chewed up or damaged.
A typical day
I do not have a yard, per say, but my apartment complex is large and has more than enough space to run, go on long walks up and down hills, and has a small fenced dog park for bathroom-only walks. I also visit Tuscaloosa most weekends and my hometown. I visit Tuscaloosa to see my girlfriend who loves dogs just as much as I do. Anyone familiar with the UA campus in Tuscaloosa knows there are a plethora of areas with huge spaces for dogs to run and play and we would love to take dogs to these places to play. At my home in my hometown I have an unbelievably friendly dog that dogs I am caring for can visit and a large neighborhood and yard to walk and play in.
