I’ve always had a love for animals. My family had cats when I was young and I spent my childhood knocking on neighbors doors asking if I could walk their dogs (most would give me a couple dollars but I was happy to do it for free). I would also ride my bike to the horse farm down the road and help care for the horses in exchange for riding lessons. Over the years my family also kept chickens, turkeys, turtles, and rabbits. I finally got a dog of my own when I started high school, a Shih Tzu named Jude, and he became the center of my world 💕 In my adult life I have had a ferret and a rabbit of my own but I unfortunately now live in a place where I can’t have pets so I get my fill by volunteering at the local animal shelter and helping out others with their pets. In addition to the standard, I also love snakes, lizards, frogs, fish, mice… pretty much any pet you can have, I would be happy to help with.
