We’re an animal loving family of three humans and one lovable Shih Tzu. I’ve had dogs as a kid growing up, and as an adult parent. I’ve raised a pure bred Labrador from a puppy, but mostly had rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes.

My dog Oso had a wonderful stay with Albert and family! They were very generous in offering updates and photos of his time at their home. We could tell our dog was well cared for and that the family is loving and great with animals.

Albert is a lifelong dog lover, as well as being a conscientious professional. You can trust that your dog will be treated like a member of the family in his home. Small dog-friendly dogs will be the best choice to stay with Albert and family as there is one small dog already in the home. Also, your dog should be good with children and accustomed to leash walks as the yard is not fenced in. Albert and family are sweet and gentle with animals, and they are generous with cuddles!

Visiting pets live with our family, treated like one of us. We prefer crate trained dogs, with a safe space of their own. We have a nice backyard, and will play outside, and also take leashed walks in our urban neighborhood. There are always lots of dogs around to meet and greet. With a nine year old and small dog in the house, we’ll be best with small, relaxed animals.

A typical day
I love to give visiting dogs lots of attention and fun activities. I work from home, and can take frequent trips outside to keep things entertaining. During the days we’ll go out in the yard and play with favorite toys, and take at least two walks during the day. Plenty of belly rubs, too.
