Greetings Rover! I work together with my wife and better half Amanda, together we are dog trainers and your go-to overnight sitters in Plainfield, CT! We’d love to be your pups’ new home away from home! We’ve been on Rover since 2015 helping train, socialize and care for pups in RI. We’re very happy to bring our services to our new neighborhood! You will get plenty of updates to help to ease the separation and not to brag, but we’re pretty good at taking pictures! We are firm believers in meet and greets to build the trust you should expect. So let us prove it to you! Flexible: We work around you! We are available for late nights and early mornings, as well as last minute requests. We have our own cars which are also dedicated to our pack so we are more than happy to accommodate any pups in need of a lift. Training: We are more than willing to work with any dogs that have behavioral problems including: - Pulling on leash - Off leash training - E-collar training - Separation anxiety - Excessive barking - Potty training - Aggression - Car anxiety - Fearful of stairs Addressing these issues are very important to keeping a balanced and happy dog. We believe a dog that can show respect for their owner is a key aspect for a well behaved fury family member. So let us help! Health & Diet: We are very strict about what we feed our dogs. No food, treats or toys are ever given without permission. We provide the dogs with Benebones as a safe alternative so let’s us know if your pup is a heavy chewer! Our first priority is to listen to what you want, as to make sure your pet's stay with us is more than perfect! Need recommendations on what your pup should be eating for food? Please pick our brain, Amanda has taken many classes on dog nutrition and would be happy to provide you with help on what you should be feeding your fur babies! Accommodations: We reside in Plainfield, CT just 7 minutes off of 395 and 25 minutes from Foxwoods. Our home furnishes tons of natural sunlight with additional space downstairs for all of our four legged friends. We have 7.5 acres and a fenced in area for supervised play time. We are far from the main road too so those pups good off leash are nice and safe! Our life revolves around the animals in our care and our home certainly reflects our dedication. Personal Bio: I grew up surrounded by dogs so my passion for animals started early. After finishing my bachelor’s degree I’ve dedicated myself to better developing my training methods with Amanda by my side. This business is my life and I live every day to make it the best that I can. Amanda has dedicated her life to her animals and has worked with multiple dog care services in metro Boston and all throughout Rhode Island. After training her first dog more than 14 years ago when she was in the 7th grade, Amanda knew she wanted nothing more than to help others learn and provide the best care possible for other dogs in her community. She works from home full time so she is with her pack all day - her favorite place to be! Now that her roots are in here in Connecticut she has the opportunity to continue the work that she loves so much.
