I have decided to extend my love of dogs to help others in need of assistance. For the past 8 years, I was fortunate to have cared for my little Shih Tzu named Lou. Adopting an adult dog was an experience of a lifetime. The last two years of his life were the hardest but the most rewarding. My love and nurturing gave him 8 wonderful years. I gained the skills needed to take care of a dog with special needs. After Lou passed away, I dedicated my time to taking care of other dogs, providing them with a wonderful and nurturing home while their dog owners were working late or travelling. Since I also would make dog food from scratch, I also incorporated homemade meals to dogs I would take care of, alleviating the difficulties of separation from their dog owner. Please note my experience is working with smaller dogs and would prefer to care for smaller dogs.
