Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. I just finished my undergraduate degree in Physiology at the University of Minnesota and I am currently in the process of applying to medical school so I don't have time for my own pup! I've grown up with dogs my entire life and since right now isn't the best time to get a pup for myself, I'd love to "adopt" your pup as my own for a night, a few days, or even a week! I LOVE being outdoors and exploring all the different parks, lakes, and trails around Atlanta and love my morning runs also! At night, I love to hang out and cuddle with your pup at home. I have taken classes for dog to dog interactions and also leash aggression so I have special training in "reactive dogs" and know how difficult and scary it can be to find a place for your dog to stay! I am willing to work with and take care of reactive dogs! Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!

Super great, she was perfect! I felt perfectly comfortable leaving her with my kitten and my home, and she was so responsive and sent us pictures constantly! My cat loved her, even showed his cuddly side. And she cleaned up the home on her way out! Will definitely keep going to her for our sitting needs :)
As always, Alayna (and Luke!) took great care of not only our house, but our overly-anxious pup. We highly, highly recommend them, especially if you have a dog that has high anxiety like ours. You won't regret it!
Alayna (and Luke!) was so fantastic! This was our very first time using Rover and we were nervous because our dog is very anxious, has a lot of little medical things to be mindful of, and can sometimes be aggressive toward other dogs, but she was perfect for him. We received many updates from her while on our trip that reassured us that our pup was happy and calm. Nothing bad happened and she followed our (highly specific) instructions very well. We will absolutely be re-booking her in the future and highly recommend her to everyone, especially those with dogs who require a little more attention, love, and work!

I will take all and any breeds! I have no discrimination against any specific dog breeds. Also, if you dog has an strange habits or a specific schedule, that would be nice to know ahead of time in order for me to be able to prepare for it. If your dog is not fully potty trained, I require either for them to be crate trained or for me to do a home stay with your dog. If your dog chews things, please let me know ahead of time so I can prepare for that. ***I have extensive experience with “difficult” or “problem” dogs. I’ve worked with the K9 coach in Minneapolis for 6 months now. Willing to take ANY dog so long as the owner is honest about everything! I know it can be difficult if your dog is people or dog aggressive and I’m willing to work with your dog!*** **NOTICE: If your dog does have accidents in my home, I will charge a $10 cleaning fee due to us having brand-new carpets installed. If your dog has potty issues, please supply doggy diapers to avoid the fee.**
A typical day
If your dog has tons of energy, I'd love to take them on a run. Exploring different neighborhoods and parks is one of my favorite things to do. I also love taking long hikes through the trails and around the lakes in the area! All around I love to be outdoors as much as possible!
