I have had pets my whole life but have personally raised and taken care of pets for 2 years. I rescued a kitten from a backyard in the middle of winter. I nursed her back to health over the next year and then gave her to a family friend so I could still go and visit. I currently have a dog who I have raised and nursed since she was born. Now at 10 months old she is fully potty trained, knows many basic commands, and gets along well with people and other animals. She has been well taken care of with us. She is groomed regularly and taken to a groomer once a month. She is spayed. We walk her on a regular basis to make sure she gets plenty of exercise and gets her energy out. I would love to make sure that your animals get the same treatment and are spoiled just like my own dog at home.
