Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of my family dogs/cats, as well as neighbors’ and sibling’s pets for as long as I can remember! My childhood dogs both had epilepsy when they got old so I am calm under pressure. We also have gotten two puppies within the last 3 years one Great Pyrenees and a German Shepherd so I love big dogs and am used to a wide range of needs. I also have a cat of my own so I am a big fan of cat sitting:) I’d love to hang out with your pets and give them the care they need while you’re away.

Alayna was fantastic! Great communication and Kai always looked so happy in pictures she would send during her visits. She was a big help getting some energy out of Kai during the day while we were gone at work. He rested much better at night!!
Alayna is an animal lover and wonderful with all types of fur babies! She treats them as her own with love and care. She is a hard worker, very trustworthy and knowledgeable. She is calm and can handle my spastic German Shepard with ease. Alayna respects your care plan and goes above and beyond to pamper your fur baby just as you would!
Alayna is great with animals, she seems to be able to connect with them. I’ve not seen a pet that didn’t want to be near her. She would make a wonderful pet sitter, the pets would be in great hands! 😊

A typical day
I’d love to accompany the dogs on walks or to play ball since that is my pups personal favorite! Every pet is different, but as long as you let me know what they love i’ll be sure to do it:)

Availability
I’m currently a full time student at Grand Valley. I am available to house sit almost every weekend! I am done with classes by 4 pm Tuesday/Thursday and I only have one class from 1:30-2:45 on Monday/Wednesday during the week so I could do walks or drop in visits any of those days. I’m flexible and can try to squeeze you in at other times before 4 pm.
