Pet care experience
I’m a medical student at the University of Ottawa and miss my little dog at home in Toronto! I love spending time with animals and miss the companionship that dogs provide. I’ve had a family dog my whole life and therefore lot a of experience taking care of them. I currently own a Havanese named Tanner (which does not live with me unfortunately but at home with my mom) and have had a Tibetan terrier in the past. My afternoons are free everyday of the week except Thursday, but do have a busy schedule as I am a student. I live in a house with 3 other female medical students who all love animals, and will show your dog a lot of love and attention! I am a responsible, reliable and mature person, and would love the opportunity to be trusted with your pup!

Alannah was Fabulous! This was the first time I left my 5 lb rescue with anyone new. London was great when I picker her up. Thought she may be distressed but not al all. Alannah made me feel comfortable leaving my baby with her. I think being a medical student helped!! Will definitely use her services again.
Alannah has taken care of my little dog Tucker and he absolutely loves spending time with her. He always looks happy and so excited every time he sees her. Alannah is very responsible, making sure that his food intake, bathroom breaks, and exercise are attended to. I highly recommend Alannah as a dependable and loving caregiver. The fact that she is studying to be a doctor is proof that she loves caring for both humans and man's best friend!
There is not one person my wife and I can trust more with our dog, Columbus Jr., than Alannah. We have had her as our dogsitter for 3 years and have had incredible experiences each time. She is extremely professional and treats our dog with respect and kindness to a level we have never seen. Some people are naturally made to be with dogs and care for them, and Alannah is no exception. If there is one complaint, it would be how punctual she is. My wife and I tend to be a little late but with Alannah, she is always on time by the second, which is amazing but not great when I’m always behind schedule. Alannah will make the perfect dog sitter and caregiver for a few reasons. For starters, she is empathetic and demonstrates that in her pursuit to become a doctor. She is currently in medical school and understands first hand how important affection and attention are when taking care of someone or something. She also grew up with dogs. She has been a loving older sister to two dogs in our family, and currently is one to our little Havanese Tanner. Alannah is responsible, trustworthy and caring and I believe she is the absolute perfect person to care for dogs and provide a home away from home.
