My name is Alannah, and I am 25 and from Stamford Connecticut. My father raised horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, parrots, and reindeer on our property, but our dogs would live with us in the house. Having grown up with constant interaction with animals, the bond that I form with animals is extremely beneficial and therapeutic for me. The pure love and innocence in animals just brings so much love and happiness to my life, I can't imagine it any other way. I have a little chihuahua mix and she is the sweetest little thing. I also have a German Shepherd and I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and ages and also cats! Alannah was so wonderful with our Boston Terrier Murray. I could tell right away that she she has such a passion for animals, and Murray was completely comfortable with her. She was very flexible, responsive, and a joy to communicate with. She was happy to share photos and detailed updates of her time with Murray. She is the first person we have ever left him with, and we are excited to continue using her services!
She cut my golden retriever's hair without my permission after I paid $90 to get him groomed! She has no common sense!
Allie was fantastic !!! It was great to be away and know that our dog was well cared for. She walked him, played with him, and you could tell she loves dogs.
Leo had the BEST time with Allie this weekend! She did a wonderful job and provided updates and pictures throughout the whole weekend. Our dog is already looking forward to his next stay with Allie! Thanks so much for taking such great care of our dog.

I need to know about any and all medications, any feeding specifications, any allergies, or any injuries, so I can make sure your dog is 100% safe, healthy, and happy in my care. I'd also like to know about their daily schedule, so I can adjust mine to make their time with me as comfortable and easy as possible.
A typical day
I am a very active person, I love going on walks but if they are up for it I can take them if not, I will accommodate your dog's specific needs. I also frequently visit local hiking trails, so if your dog's up for it, I will gladly take them. There is a lake behind my house where your dog can cool off from the summer heat. If your dog is comfortable with car rides then I don't mind bringing along a few companions when I do daily errands. I am an amateur dog trainer; I've trained both of my current dogs and can help your new puppy or older dog learn some basic skills, such as sit, stay, heel, come, place, etc. I also can help you out around the house by watering any plants you may have, taking care of any other pets you may have, bringing in the newspaper/mail, taking out the garbage/recycling, and picking up any items you may need for your pets.
