Hello! My name is Alani and becoming a pet sitter is my dream job while I go to school at Chico State. I love spending time with animals, especially dogs. I have one of my own and she is a Chug. Through my experience owning Missy I have learned a great deal about how to properly care for pets regarding their diet, exercise, and how much affection they need without feeling lonely or overwhelmed. I am familiar with Chico Valley Oak Veterinarian Center off MLK Dr. by Costco who are open 24 hours a day if your pet needs to be seen in the middle of the night. I am also willing to visit your dog or cat's vet clinic before I petsit so if an emergency occurs there won't be any confusion on where it is. In the past I have pet sat cats and dogs of all ages. When I watch a pet I always make sure they have enough water and food. I also have taken inventory to see if they will have enough food until the owners get back. I know from my previous sitting experience how stressed out pets can be when you're out of town, so I am also willing to stay longer than an agreed upon time if I feel your pet needs extra attention. My schedule is flexible and open so if you would like to meet for coffee with your dog to do a meet and greet, or do a phone interview to see if I am a good fit for you and your pet please contact me.
