My love for animals began in childhood. Over the years, caring for family and friends' pets became a career. I provide loving care to all, but especially to pets with special needs and senior pets. I ensure that your beloved family member knows they are safe and loved while you are away. As a Reiki practitioner, I can provide a healing experience along with therapeutic touch, to those in need.

I have known Alane Kasanowski for almost 15 years when she was taking care of a neighbor’s house, cats and dog. She started taking care of my three dogs and cat soon after and she is the only one who has cared for them that I feel 100% confident with. One of my dogs had pancreatitis and Addison and I never had to worry about her care. I would recommend Alane 100%!!!!! I wish she still lived near me.
Alane has watched our pets (cat & dog) on several occasions. We could not have asked for better. She stayed at our house for 2 weeks and more sometimes. She was very respectful of our home and went above and beyond with our pets. I have a diabetic cat and she gladly learned how to give her insulin twice a day. Our dog loves to be outdoor since we have an invisible fence. But Alana still spent hours outside with our dog regardless of the invisible fence. Took her for long walks, took lots of pictures of them and forwarded pictures and a detailed report everyday about how they were doing. She came highly reccomended to me by one of her client and like that client, I highly recommend her. We could not have asked for better. Above and beyond is what Alane provides. Our pets were happy, well treated and our house was as clean when we got home as it was when we left. If you want a responsible pet sitter, I promise you, she is the person you want. Alane K is a remarkable pet sitter. She is extremely conscientious of her duties and her abilities: she communicates with the animals, walks them and provides for them in all their individual needs, and communicates extremely well with the pet owners. Any information that allows me to do so, is appreciated, including routines that work best for your pet, their personality traits and behaviors and management strategies that you use, their preferences, medical concerns, etc.
A typical day
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with animals--cats, dogs, etc., playing, petting, and being a loving companion. I let your pet's personality and preferences guide me when caring for them. Whether it is in your yard or on a walk, I will provide your dog time to explore and play, and to be stimulated. Although it is important for them to get exercise, it is equally important that they are mentally stimulated, which is where the 'sniff-a-bouts' come into play. I believe consistency is important, so walking and playing where you normally do so, is most likely the best option. However, I am open to exploring outside of their routine with you.
