Pet care experience
Growing up, I've always had a love for dogs. I have had three dogs, two at the same time. Currently I have two dogs, Hanna and Safire. Hanna is 10 years old and is a Schnoodle (schnauzer and poodle mix), while my other baby Safire is a 15 year old teddy bear (shih tzu and bichon frise mix). I have pet sat for multiple different families, as well as taken care of new born puppies as well as older senior dogs. I also have experience working at a pet store by the name of Paw Depot where we specialize in dog grooming and pet nutrition. I have a strong knowledge on what dogs love and what they need. Your dog will be safe under my care.

Alandra is one of the best dog sitters I have ever worked for!! Alandra always helps to make my pets feel as if I never left! I have 3 dogs (a 7 y/o dachshund, 4 y/o aussie shepherd, and a 8 m/o golden retriever) and 2 cats (a 7 and 4 year old tabby) and despite the house being a farm (LOL) she consistently manages it smoothly and even leaves the place looking as if a maid service came through! She's the greatest sitter, paws down!
Alandra is such an amazing sitter. I feel confident leaving both my dogs, a lab and a pug, with her. She gives the best care, and ensures my dogs are happy when I'm away. She sends lots of photos too, which is greatly appreciated and fun for the whole family to see! I always use Alandra when I'm away. Alandra also is amazing with last minute drop ins! I know I can text her if I'm even in a bend.

I take all necessary safety precautions when watching pets in their homes. I follow all rules set by the owner, and ensure a safe environment for the pups during my stay. I put on leashes and gear for walking before opening any doors, and enter and exit carefully to ensure no one escapes.

Before I take your dog to socialize with other dogs at the dog park, I will ask if your dog is friendly with other dogs. I will ask the best way to walk your dog as well in case of neighbor dogs.
A typical day
During the days, I love to play with the dogs I’m staying with, whether it’s fetch or going to the dog parks! I love being outdoors, and love taking the dogs I walk to local nature trails.

Availability
I currently work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10-4 at a grooming salon. The salon I work at is open floor concept with no cages, so as long as your dog is pet friendly, I can bring them to work to play with other dogs!
