Pet care experience
I’ve cared for animals my whole life, from cats and dogs, to horses and chickens. I currently have a 5 year old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix named Legend. He typically is with me for all of my bookings, and loves making new friends! Having Legend 5 years has kept my training strategies on par. I have professionally and personally boarded, walked, and cared for dogs. I also housesit on a regular basis. I have a patient and kind demeanor that works well with any temperament/energy level. I realize that each dog has a different unique personality and needs, and know how to understand and work with them. I love hiking and being outdoors, so being able to work and do what I love while helping animals is a passion of mine. Alana was so great with my girl, Bridget! I was on a long road trip with my dog and stopped at The Gorge for a weekend music festival and Alana watched my dog while I was there. She was easy, communicative, and sent me updates and pictures everyday. Will definitely use her again if I make it up to The Gorge again. I highly recommend!
Alana is always great with our dog Scout and he loves spending time with her. We would highly recommend Alana she does a great job communicating and we always know Scout is in great hands with her.
Piper was well taken care of and really enjoyed staying with Alana and Legend. We will gladly recommend Alana for dog sitting and overnights!

A typical day
I love hiking and long walks at the park! And nothing beats a good game of fetch:) the backyard is huge so I let the dogs run and play to their hearts content while taking in the scenery of the lake and ducks.

I’m currently a full time grad student online, and I also work from home, so I’m able to keep a flexible schedule whether you need me to watch your pup weekdays or weekends.
