Hello! My name is Alana and I am a HUGE animal lover! I'm a young professional that loves animals and decided I would find a way to get them in my life again after giving up my beagle a while back due to a split up. I am loving and gentle and very much enjoy cuddling and petting my furry friends while making sure they also have solid opportunities to excersize and enjoy the outdoors and playing. I am aware as a mother of a 2 year old that furry babies also need just as much attention and interaction as even a young child does to maintain a happy demeanor and be at peace. I get that pups can have anxiety being in a new place which makes me the perfect sitter since I am a calming and loving person. I do have a 3 year old that also loves animals and also has her own toy room that she is in most of the time and she is actually with her father and grandmother a great deal of the time and generally she will be with them when I have boarders. When she is not, I am very aware and understand that doggies in new surroundings will need to get used to seeing a little person around and therefore I will limit the interaction, especially with dogs that are not used to kids. My daughter is very good and content watching tv in her room and playing with her toys as well. I had a beagle daushound for a long time and absolutely fell in love with dogs after that. A bit more about me, I currently work for a marketing company very part time and also do different events promoting a variety of products such as Harley Davidson Visa, RJ Reynolds, Google, etc. Therefore my work is very much flexible. I will choose when I want to work and for how long. If I have boarders, I will try not to but if I do have to work it is usually about 4-5 hours in the evening while the pups are sleeping. I work a few days a week. Im very open and flexible however and want to meet your needs! So, tell me what works for you and your baby and we will work it out. I have about 10 years of doggy experience as I have taken care of my dog since 16 until i gave it up to his Daddy a few years back... hardest thing ive had to do but it was best for my aging dog to be in a bigger space with other dogs as well. A typical day for your doggie may be a walk in the moring in the park, coming home, breakfast for us both, perhaps another walk around 1 and an additional walk at 6-7 through the metroparks. We will play throughout the day and I am happy to have my little doggys come rest on my couch with me or my bed when we sleep. I am also very open to coming to your home where your dog is most comfortable to help as well. Whatever I can do to meet your needs I will do! I am very layed back and again, want my clients to be happy. I am responsible and a loving person. I go to church often and believe that animals are important in life because they give us a special joy and love in a way that noone else can. I want that in my life so thats why I'm doing this. Your pup will be safe and happy in my care, I guarantee it! I'll also give you updates and send you pictures on how wonderful he or she is doing to give you some peace while you are away. Im very excited to be there for doggys and their mommys/daddys at sometimes a difficult time being apart from each other. I look forward to being your safe place. I hope to hear from you!
